1999 Mustang GT

This car was traded in 4/17/2002.  With a student loan coming due and a growing family it was no longer practical to keep this car.  (I had two "hobby" cars ... this Mustang *AND* a Taurus SHO.  The Mustang can be replaced someday, the SHO can't, and I liked the SHO better.)  My Mustang GT was fun.  I'll miss her.  This page is no longer updated.

This page is dedicated to my 1999 Ford Mustang GT.

On April 8, 1999 the air conditioning in my 1995 Plymouth Neon had stopped working.    In itself this was not a bad thing, however it was the umpteenth thing to break in the previous three months.   Frustrated and fearing that this was not the last component to fail I decided to just start pricing other cars.  Well, after looking at and test driving various offerings from Pontiac, Chevy and Ford I decided that I really liked the Mustang GT.   The dealership was very professional and efficient.    I was able to test drive the car, work up a deal and go home within a 5 hour time span !!!   The Neon was now gone and my Mustang was in my driveway !!
