During the period that I lived in the Northeast I had to the opportunities to visit Connecticut many times. The nature of these trips was mostly business. Additionally, I've passed through this state quite a few times en route to other northeastern destinations.
My impressions? It's a decent state. The cost of living is a bit high for my tastes. The winters are long and cold. Overall not my first choice of a home, but one could do much worse.
